What Makes a Good Piano Tuning?
A quality piano tuning involves far more than adjusting individual notes. A properly serviced piano should sound balanced, stable, and musical across the entire keyboard. Several important elements contribute to a professional tuning:
Pitch Accuracy — Notes are carefully adjusted to proper pitch standards or to the piano’s ideal operating pitch.
Tone Balance — Chords and intervals should sound clean, even, and harmonious throughout the instrument.
Tuning Stability — Proper tuning technique helps the piano remain stable longer despite seasonal humidity and temperature changes.
Touch & Playability — The keyboard should feel responsive and consistent from bass to treble.
Mechanical Health — During service, issues such as sticking keys, worn action parts, pedal problems, or regulation concerns can often be identified before they become larger repairs.
Routine maintenance not only improves sound quality but also helps protect the long-term health of the piano.

For the next several months, I will primarily be based in Sioux City while staying with family but will be making Regular trips to West Des Moines and the surrounding Communities. After relocating to West Des Moines, I will continue making regular trips back to the Sioux City community. I additionally serve Columbus, NE and the surrounding communities on a regular basis.

Pitch Raises - If your piano is too far from concert tuning, we do these to get it close before coming back and doing a final fine tune.
Piano Cleaning - Deep cleaning, mice removals, blowing the dust out, or getting that perfect shine.
Piano Repairs - Field Repairs including: Sticky or sluggish keys, broken strings, pedal alignments and repairs, Action Regulation & Repair, Key alignments, and more.
