I am a Certified Piano Technician (CPT) and received my certification through the Piano Technician Academy where I learned how to do everything from tuning pianos, to voicing, and repairs.
I am also a proud member of the Piano Technician's Guild, a Professional Society for piano technicians where we can hone our craft and continue furthering our education.
I graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University with my Bachelors of Music Education where my Primary Instrument was the Tuba. During my studies at Wesleyan, I played Tuba in the Symphonic band. I Played Euphonium in the pit and in a brass quintet. I took private Piano lesson and courses of piano study. I took Private oboe lessons. I also took various method courses on all instruments.
After Graduating I taught 4-12 grade instrumental music for 3 years where I helped students who were just starting out, preparing for Solo recitals, and auditioning for all-state. I also lead the Pep Band where I played trumpet with my students.
I have performed vocally for 8 years, and was a church chorister for 4 years. I truly love performing! I have experience with private lessons, in chamber choirs and jazz acapella groups, musical theater and solo preforming.
I have the most experience in a chamber choir setting but I love all types of vocal work. Musical theater is my personal favorite! I also have experience with multiple languages, specifically Spanish and Latin. I am excited to work on any vocal repertoire students would like.
